Senior Solicitor (LLB/BCom)

Julie works in both the Whangaparaoa and Auckland office where she is primarily located. Julie graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws.

Julie has extensive experience in all areas of family law – including relationship property, care of children and domestic violence both in court and out of court. As a result of working in relationship property Julie also deals with buying and selling of property, wills and trusts. Julie also has maintained an interest in employment law and has done various mediations working for both employee and employer clients. Julie is passionate about people and helping them through what can be difficult times and has recently been appointed as lawyer for the subject person in PPPR proceedings by the Family Court.

Julie believes it is important to serve in the community that she lives in and is the Chairperson of the North Shore Women’s Centre and also is a volunteer lawyer for the Legal Clinic that the centre operates. Previously she has served as a volunteer lawyer for CAB and Raeburn House. She sees this as her way of hoping to change the general public’s perception of lawyers to that they are really nice, kind people.
